Jim Marrs – Award winning journalist, Jim Marrs, has been a freelance writer, author, and public relations consultant since 1980. He received his BA degree in Journalism in 1966 from the University of North Texas, and attended graduate school at Texas Tech until 1968 when Mr. Marrs began writing for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, covering local, European, and Middle Eastern stories. Mr. Marrs took a leave of absence to serve in the Vietnam War with a Fourth Army Intelligence unit. Since 1976, he has taught a course at the University of Texas dealing with the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. In 1989, his book entitled Crossfire: The Plot That Killed Kennedy was published and by early 1992 took its position on the New York Times Paperback Non-Fiction Best Seller list. This book became the basis for Oliver Stone’s film entitled JFK, of which Mr. Marrs served as the chief consultant for both the film’s screenplay and production. He has authored many more books since that time, including Psi Spies, Alien Agenda, Rule by Secrecy, and Inside Job: Unmasking the 9/11 Conspiracies. Mr. Marrs has won numerous awards, for both writing and photography, and is listed in Who’s Who in the World and Who’s Who in America.
